Smoked Salmon Appetizer


1 1/2 lbs. Alaskan Smoked Salmon
24 slices rye bread (coctail size pieces)
1/2 thinly sliced red onions
3 T. capers
lemon slices and fresh dill sprigs
seasoned cream cheese*
*Seasoned Cream Cheese Ingredients
8 oz. soft cream cheese
1 t. lemon juice
4-5 drops hot pepper sauce
2 T milk
1 t. dill weed


To prepare the seasoned cream cheese, combine and beat cream cheese, lemon juice, hot pepper sauce, milk and dill weed to a smooth texture.

Nicely arrange the smoked salmon, a bowl of the seasoned cream cheese and rye bread slices on a serving plate. Use the red onions, capers, lemon slices and dill as garnish. Makes 6 servings.
